School Improvement Plan

Every five years, the Tennessee Department of Education requires schools and school systems to do extensive self-studies called a School Improvement Plans (SIP).  Committees composed of administrators, teachers, students, parents and community volunteers conduct each study.  The purpose of the plan is to identify strengths of the school and areas that need improvement.  The final components list goals that are set, actions that will be taken and plans for monitoring the progress.

The following SIP was submitted for approval on November 1, 2007.
